Storm Internet shortlisted for 4 awards at 2016 ISPAs | Storm Internet
The Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA) today announced the finalists for the 2016 ISPA Awards. Fifty companies have been shortlisted across fifteen categories, with international hosting company Storm Internet Ltd. nominated in four categories.
The categories in which the Oxfordshire-based ISP stands a chance to take home the gold this year include Best Dedicated Hosting, Security, Best Business Customer Service, and newly added category Best Cloud Product.
“We’re truly honoured to have been selected again as finalists at the 2016 ISPAs. Especially since we received a nomination for each of the four categories we entered into.” said Storm Internet Founder and Managing Director, Salim Benadel.
The annual ISPA Awards are the longest running and most prestigious Internet industry awards in the UK, currently enjoying its 18th year. It highlights the true breadth of the industry and the services that keep the UK at the leading edge of the digital economy.
“The companies shortlisted at this year’s ISPAs play a vital role in connecting the UK and this year has an incredible range of companies nominated,” said ISPA Secretary General Nick Lansman.
The ISPA Awards recognise ISPs of all sizes, with global telecoms giants such as BT and Vodafone competing alongside smaller companies such as Storm Internet for the ultimate victory of being named category winner.
“Some of the finest hosting companies and service providers in the country have been shortlisted, including global giants such as BT and Vodafone. To be nominated alongside these companies is already in our opinion an achievement in itself,” Benadel continued. “It is a testament to the hard work and dedication our team puts in every day to deliver the very best in service, support and security to our customers.”
Far from a newcomer at the ISPA awards, Storm Internet has had several wins over the past three years, including the “Best Business Use of Cloud” award and a nomination for “Best Business Customer Care” in 2015, the “Best Dedicated Hosting” award in 2014, and the “Best SME Business Hosting” award in 2013.
Winners of this year’s ISPA Awards will be announced at the ISPA Awards ceremony. The ceremony will be held on the 7th of July at the prestigious Brewery in the City of London.
