Giving our customers a greater power of control with our new customer portal | Storm Internet
Here at Storm Internet we’re dedicated to providing you with the very best hosting infrastructure backed by our expert knowledge and support 24/7/365. With that in mind, we’re pleased to announce the release of the first phase of our Brand New Customer Portal, giving you greater power of control and a place where you can manage all of your services in one single, easy to use interface.
Benefits include:
- Improved navigation and layout
- Better centralisation – All of your Storm services available in one central portal.
- Increased control for StormCloud Private – Our Private Cloud customers will be able to create, modify, resize and delete their Virtual Machines (VMs) and easily move them between their parent (hypervisor) servers.
- All cloud server customers can now – Enable load balancing between your VMs, Backup and restore VMs, manage settings and power management of VMs, connect via KVM over IP, monitor resource usage (CPU, Bandwidth etc.) and enable port monitoring with direct feed through to our support team.
- Improved managed support – You can now create Custom Escalation Procedures directly via the portal. Simply define a set of specific and custom instructions for our support team to carry out on your server when an alert is triggered, and we will be on it! A true example of how we are more than just a hosting provider, and more an extension of your team.
- Improved security management – Schedule Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance and vulnerability scanning on your sites and servers and get reports on-demand.
The portal is the result of months of hard work, both from the Storm team and several of our customers who provided valuable feedback during our beta testing period, and we are now delighted to announce the official launch!

You can now do this via the “Help us Improve” tab within the portal, this will enable us to incorporate your feedback in the coming months.
